Gary V. Cantrell, CEO
Mr. Cantrell has 30 years of experience in the life sciences industry ranging from clinical experience as a respiratory therapist while attending college to his appointment in 2007 as CEO of Yasoo Health. Previously, he was President of The Catevo Group, a Raleigh, NC based health care consulting firm. Prior to that, he was Executive VP, Sales and Marketing for TEAMM Pharmaceuticals, an Accentia Biopharmaceuticals company, where he lead all commercial activities for a public specialty pharmaceutical business. His previous 22 years were at GSK where he held progressively senior management positions in sales, marketing and business development. Mr. Cantrell is a graduate of Wichita State University and serves as an advisor to several emerging life science companies. He also serves as a Director for Yasoo Health Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Yasoo Health Inc. and Flexible Stenting Solutions, Inc., a leading developer of next generation peripheral arterial, venous, neurovascular and biliary stents.
Konstantinos (Gus) Papas, MD, VP, Medical and Regulatory Affairs
Konstantinos Papas, Vice President, Medical and Regulatory Affairs, received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his residency at Stanford University and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Papas also holds a Masters degree in Public Health Policy and Administration.
Isaias Ioannides, VP International Operations
Mr. Ioannides, has more than 20 years of business experience from start-ups to large multinational companies in management, operations, geographic expansion and business development. He previously worked for Organon in the Middle East and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Ioannides has extensive experience managing area teams, customer relationships, marketing, sales, product launches, distributors, contract manufacturing, logistics and international tendering for numerous countries in the Middle East, Africa and Iran. He is educated to postgraduate level and speaks several languages.
Vicky Hadjivassiliou, PhD, Regulatory & Scientific Support Manager for International Operations
Vicky Hadjivassiliou received her BSc from the University of Birmingham, UK, in Biochemistry and her PhD from the University of Sussex, UK, in the area of Diabetes. She worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of California, San Diego in the area of gene therapy for Diabetes. Upon joining Yasoo Health, Dr. Hadjivassiliou received funding from the Research Promotion Foundation in Cyprus, and was responsible for grant writing and for the management of a number of research projects at Yasoo Health. In her current role she is responsible for the regulatory work, and provides scientific support to our commercial team and all our distributors as part of the International Operations.
John A Hyatt, PhD, Director of Research
John Hyatt, Director of Research, earned his Ph.D. in organic chemistry at Ohio State University and was a postdoctoral Fellow in the Dept. of Chemistry at Harvard University, where he worked in natural products chemistry under Nobel laureate R.B. Woodward. Dr. Hyatt was a Research Fellow at Eastman Chemical Co.'s research labs prior to joining Yasoo Health. He holds a concurrent appointment as Research Professor in Chemistry at East Tennessee State University and is the author of over 80 technical papers and US patents in organic chemistry.
Barbara Schreiber, Manager of Sales and Marketing Operations
Barbara Schreiber joined Yasoo Health with 20+ years experience in sales and marketing of both pharmaceutical and biotechnology products, working with Bayer and Bristol Myers Squibb, and with 3 years hospital clinical and research endocrinology laboratory experience. Barbara is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in Biophysics and Microbiology, and is responsible for US sales of all Yasoo Health product lines.
